This is a quick pre-game check that diagnoses both your reaction time and your device performance (phone/PC). Instead of a simple reflex test, it also accounts for device input latency so you see results from both angles: Human Reflex × Device Performance.
In the test, we measure the average time from the “GO!” signal to your tap. From that, we separate your human reaction from the device-side latency. Results are then ranked in an easy esports-style scale so you can see where you stand.
Before you jump into a match, run this hybrid check of your skill + your device. You might discover that you are fast—but your device is holding you back.
Pro Gamer Reaction Time Test (Mobile)
Step 1: benchmark your device → Step 2: run the reaction test (10 trials). We’ll show your measured average, estimated human-only reflex, and esports-style ranks.
1) Device Benchmark
How to Use This Tool
-
Device Benchmark
Tap “Benchmark & Save” at the top of the page.
The tool reads your estimated refresh rate, CPU thread count, and (if supported) memory, then saves a device rank (Entry / Mid / Pro Tier). -
Start the Test
Tap “Start Test” to begin the reaction check. When the target turns “GO!”, tap (or click) immediately. The rating uses the average of 10 trials. -
Avoid False Starts
Tapping before “GO!” counts as a false start for that round (it won’t be included in the average) and may slightly penalize the final rank. -
Read Your Results
After the run you’ll see:
• Overall (Measured Avg): average time from GO! to tap (ms)
• Estimated Human Reflex: your reaction time with device latency subtracted (ms)
• Device Input Floor: the estimated minimum latency of your device (based on Hz, etc.)
You’ll also get a Reflex Rank and a Device Rank, plus a short summary and coaching note. -
Run It Again
Use “Try Again” to re-test. To clear the saved device rank, tap “Clear Saved Data.”
Pro Tips
- Keep your finger (or mouse) off the screen while waiting and tap instantly when you see “GO!”
- Notifications, calls, or screen rotation can cause inconsistencies. Silent mode and rotation lock recommended.
- Use clicks on desktop; taps on phones/tablets.
FAQ
- On iOS, browser limitations may prevent reading approximate memory (it can show “—”).
- Device rank is an estimate based mainly on refresh rate (Hz), CPU concurrency, and memory (if available). On iPhone, screen resolution × DPR is also considered; still an approximation.
Data & Privacy
The device benchmark is stored only in your browser’s localStorage. It is not sent to any server. You can delete it any time with “Clear Saved Data.”
